Here in Maine, we are lucky to have a weekly report on nature. From people in the state , reports are sent in detailing what has been seen. There are only one other report like it in the country and that is in Vermont. Well, during the recent flooding up in Aroostook County, FEMA, used MNN's"Black Fly Report" for their people.
It's a great resource . FEMA thought so too, they gave the publisher, Robin Follette, a certificate of appreciation. Congratulations Robin!
