I took a break from life and had a visit with a friend up here. To say I feel better is an understatement. A day trip out to Richardson Lake was on the docket, it's one of my favorite places to be. It's big,wild and beautiful.
And before we went to Richardson, we headed out to a local trail on a very cold morning.

The photos are beautiful Kirk-my favs are the last two. First thought was they would make a good "card" for next year and then i thought, he should make one his header photo in July or August when the non-Maine parts of the country are sweltering.
Those tree photos are so gorgeous.
Thanks nut, I had a great time. I think it was something like 5 that day. And a nice breeze kept the heat down.
